PC lamp covers—what is the production process like? Some sales colleagues are not very familiar with the production process of PC lamp covers, and when communicating with customers, they are unsure how to explain the process, which can be quite awkward. Today, the editor will discuss the production process of PC lamp covers with everyone. If you have better methods, you are also welcome to provide feedback to our company.
Before producing PC lamp covers, we need to complete several preparatory steps. The first step is to understand the specifications required by the customer, namely the dimensions. For standard products such as T5/T8 PC lamp covers, this is relatively easy. Generally, we provide samples to the customer; if there are no objections to the price and samples, we can proceed to production immediately.
If it is a custom-shaped PC lamp cover, the customer first needs to design the product structure drawings of the PC lamp cover and then provide the drawings to our company. After reviewing them, if production is feasible, we will open the mold and then purchase light-diffusing PC raw materials. Before injection molding, the materials must be controlled and dried, and the barrel, screw, and related accessories must be cleaned. After injection molding, quality inspection is required. During later mass production, technicians need to continuously make adjustments, perform surface treatments, inspections, and packaging.
From mold opening to sample production, it generally takes about 7 days. After the mold is returned, our technicians will debug it on the machine until the customer’s requirements are met. After the customer confirms that the sample is OK, mass production can begin.
