PET is a material with a highly symmetrical molecular structure and excellent crystallization ability. Because of these two characteristics, packaging tubes made from PET have very good film-forming properties. Moreover, PET packaging tubes feature two hallmark advantages: excellent optical performance and outstanding weather resistance. In addition, PET packaging tubes also offer excellent insulating properties. PET packaging tubes are very lightweight, non-toxic, and have high structural strength.
PET packaging tubes also have excellent abrasion resistance and dimensional stability. Due to their good transparency, high strength, light weight, non-toxicity, impermeability, and high production efficiency, PET packaging tubes are widely used.
PET is a plastic material formed from milky white or light yellow crystals, with a smooth and glossy surface, low wear, and high hardness. Among thermoplastic materials, PET has one of the best toughness levels. It is less affected by temperature, but has relatively poor corona resistance. PET has high moisture absorption and must be dried before molding.
